If you have any material on Harding County that you would like to share with others please contact the county host listed at the bottom of this page.  The people listed below have volunteered to do lookups (Well... I do hope to have some soon).  Lookup requests should be limited to one name, or perhaps two if it is a married couple.  Please do not ask for "everybody with X surname" or an entire family group Please ask them nicely and be patient, some volunteers have limited time to do lookups.

Cattle Brands, Sheep Brands and Stock Earmarks must be registered in New Mexico. I will lookup a brand description for Harding County in the 1934-36  and 1977 New Mexico Brand Books which includes many pre-statehood brands. The brand book reveals where your ancestor lived at the time brand was registered. Lookups will be for one Surname, First name or initials, and approximate location and date as required by the USGenWeb Policy on Lookups.

If you own a useful publication and are willing to do lookups for others, tell me.  However, if the publication is subject to copyrights           I this is probably the case if it was published after 1921), I ask you to send me a note saying you are aware of copyright laws and are      willing to abide by them in any lookups you do.  I can tell you some internet sites that give you some good information about   c          ocopyright laws if you want them.
